This is a recording of children playing in the large playground at the luxembourg gardens in paris, france. The recording was made from the east side of the playground, next to an attraction that allows kids to hang from a sort of harness and slide down a rail. The metallic clink you hear periodically is the sound of the runners on this gadget banging into each other as kids jump off of them. Recorded with a zoom h4n at 96 khz / 24 bits in stereo with built-in mics.

A sort of renaissancey version of the first two lines of ding dong merrily on high, composed on cubase with samples from the edirol orchestral plug in (a bit of harp, french horn, alto flute and violin with kettle drum and sleigh bell percussion). I used my vape to make a gentle snake hiss. Worked out rather well, most hisses i've found barely had more dynamic than white noise. I think this fills the request for a snake hiss that's more dynamic. I will also upload this as a rainstick because it is similar.

An attempt to create the sound of tentacles moving using a wet shower mat in a bathtub. Useful if you're trying to create a horror movie type sound where a tentacle creature is moving around. Possibly. Recorded using my tascam dr-40 and then added a bunch of filters in my daw (hindenburg).
