This is the sound of a bamboo being shaken lightly, originally i had meant to make the sound of a light wind but the sounds turned out too harsh. So i ended up being able to salvage the sound of a bush being shaken or moved through. For all those forest troopers, here you go.

I turned on my recorder just after watching a movie on valentines day. The theatre wasn't packed but people were relaxed. I stood in the lobby for a while watching people getting ready for the next movie, then walked outside through the squeaky doors of the theatre and stood around people having a smoke and waiting for their ride home. I then walked to my car. Panasonic stereo hand recorder, nothing fancy.

Walking on a nature trail on a late summer evening. Walking on concrete at the beginning of the clip and on grass midways and on. A bird can be heard calling distantly in the background. Crickets chirp loudly throughout the clip. The sound of leaves and sticks being crunched and knocked about can be heard moreso during the second half of the clip. Lots of nighttime traffic and in the first two minutes, several loud vehicles pass and you hear three loud reports of distant fireworks followed by distant barking. There's about three more minutes of traffic and then the noise dies down to neighborhood hum in the last 45 seconds.

Recording of a day of the dead celebration at the museum of native american history in washington, d. C. (2014) features drumming, flute playing, chanting, yelling / whooping, whip crack sounds. Drenched in natural reverb (recorded from top floor of a circular performance space with a stone ceiling), with lots of low-frequency rumble. Possible use: could be processed for horror ambience.

Made for a survival island demo i'm working on, this sound represents cutting down a clump of bamboo. The sound itself was made by layering different recordings of me dropping a chopstick on my desk.
