Recorded in a room with a very high cieling added with echo at the end of a blues session !.

This was recorded inside the blue mosque in istanbul during friday prayer in may 2005. To get in to the blue mosque with recording equipment we had to get a permission from the religious authorities. We also needed a muslim to operate the equipment since the friday prayers were forbidden for non-muslims. We set up the recording equipment and let our turkish guide hit the record button once the prayer started. The sound is recorded using an m/s rig straight to dat and processed afterwards with a hp filter in protools to remove microphone rumble. Recorded by asbjørn blokkum flø, kjetil bjørgan and the anonymous guide.

Weird wind made with a synth that makes wind sounds, reapper, and orca.

Electric guitar sorta dirty, raunchy, sloppy, don’t call it blues but can’t call it complete noise.

Here is a rainy day version with what sounds like blue jays and other birds including crows in the background. Recorded on the back porch with rain falling off eaves in a spectacular sound clip via a tascam dr-05.

Rootsy solo mandolin cue, part of a "matched set" to be used in different places in a podcast, radio show, or video. The set contains segments from a second or two up to about a minute, to be used for cues, hits, bumps, interstitials and voiceovers. The music is a roundback mandolin from 1900 improvising in the key of g. The feel is uptempo, traditional, natural, organic, old time, americana. I'd be grateful for feedback on what worked and what didn't. How is the sound quality? are there lengths of cue that you needed that weren't here?. There is a street musician downtown in the chicago area during blues fest. You can hear the background of automobiles in the background. Also, there is a guy selling 'ice cold water'. Some wind is heard since i was walking around.

Another recording of one of my favorite fall soundscapes featuring cottonwood leaves "shimmering", the lonely call of a blue jay and the soft sound of insects singing a little more quiet than they do in the warmer temps of summer. Recorded using my zoom h4-n recorder, and the famous sm57 microphone.

A recording done in late october of several years ago featuring the crisp sound of the leaves of a giant cottonwood tree being brushed by fall breezes. The sound of a lonely blue-jay really adds to this soundscape. Recorder used: handy zoom h4-n with internal microphones.

Simply blues style riff, almost heavy distortion but it pulls back enough to not call it heavy. Some garage rock, independent style of blues you might call it. Some difference variations are throughout the piece.

A recording of me typing on my havit kb390l mechanical keyboard with kailh low profile blue switches in them. The clicky sound is produced by a clickbar inside the keyswitch which produces an audible click on both the down and upstroke, differing from normal mechanical keyboards which tend to only click on the downstroke. Recording taken with my blue yeti nano.

A peaceful fall soundscape of the swelling of the wind as it blows through the leaves of the cottonwood tree, plus, the melancholy sound of some blue jays calling out -- to me blue jays are the iconic sound of fall. Recorded using my handy zoom h4-n portable digital audio recorder and my rode nt-g 2 shotgun microphone. Enjoy.

An interesting recording of birds, led by blue jays, doing their alarm calls. I was in the middle of the woods when i noticed that the birds seemed to be alarmed like there was a predator nearby and sure enough, i finally spotted a big barred owl sitting high in a tree about 50 yards from my recorder. Pretty amazing how the bird community sounds the alarm.

Hohner blues harp in c, played cross-harp (g major) for multiple “train whistle” sounds. First played high (d and f), then lower (b and d) , then a little faster. Recorded about 10 inches away with tascam dr-05. Multiple takes were trimmed and assembled in audacity.
