Some thunders are closer, pretty clear and loud. Be ware for some of my movement sounds, you may need to edit.

My upstairs neighbor sometimes likes to rhythmically stomp on their floor. I recorded their stomping with low gain and then with high gain, from the living room of my apartment. You'll likely need to perform some noise reduction, especially on the high gain stomps. This was recorded with a blue yeti mic.

Northwest wind gusts through a forest of oak and beech and pine trees. Recorded on saturday july 21st, 2018 at 3:30pm in a midwestern forest. Although there are a lot of birds in the forests at this time of year, they were quiet today. A nice, peaceful, soothing snapshot of summer----recorded just 4 weeks after the solstice here in the northern hemishpere. Temp: 84 degrees fhumidity: 51%. A soft and subtle, unedited sound recording from my studio in leeds. On the top floor of my terraced house, i have a large window that opens out onto a quiet street in north leeds. A school is nearby, so there are some elements of children screaming, but overall you get a nice wash of bird song, quiet car sounds and mild wind. This recording would be excellent for atmospheric sound for film, tv or whatever else. Feel free to use this sample and contact me if you want some extended recordings as i'm planning on recording a few more field studies from my area, which is lovely and removed from the main city.

October 28th, 2020 the wind and rain sounds from hurricane zeta [30 seconds] captured in the french quarter of new orleans.

This storm came thru this morning and i recorded it on my zoom h6 using the built in mics. There are some good rumbles of thunder in this recording.

The sounds of a soft summer evening storm in the city drawing to a close. Recorded on a blue yeti from my studio window that faces the gangway between buildings. Some distant sounds of my partner in the apartment can be heard within the first 30 seconds. Throughout the remainder, there are occasional sounds from the street as cars pass on the wet road.

It's winter on vancouver island. The heavy and frequent rains engorge the lakes & streams and they flow into the cowichan river. Engorged by seasonal precipitation this large heritage river churns into a narrow bedrock canyon, turns, and comes out of the turn charging. This is where the recording was made, at river level. Recorded in january with a zoom h1 n, audio quality 48,000 hz. Unedited.
