The original description of the audio by piermic provided from the source: I have performed this improvisation with my plastic "Sopranino" recorder in my house in Rome, Italy, 5 October 2015. I recorded with a Tascam DR-05 and I added a bit reverb with Logic Pro X.

This sound is the sound of the door to my bathroom closing from the outside. To record this i used my sontronics stc-10 microphone, my audiobox interface and pro tools on my mac at 48khz, 24 bit. I recorded this sound to be used as foley for a door closing off screen in a student film. I uploaded as i thought it might come in useful to others.

The same sample with some reverb added. Makes it sound a bit more eerie, maybe just funny. <scrapping and bending cheap alu. Exactly, its the cap of a cheap alluminium box,scrapped over with a metallic brush full of cat's hair. Lol. Pure spontaneous improvisation>. This is a short stab of music that i think sounds a bit like the shimmering strings often found at the edges of an elder scrolls background theme. I would try to compose more but i don't have that kind of talent of really know what i'm doing.

This sound was from a live video feed on a social media broadcast. At some point the audio just got caught into a feedback loop that lasted for a bit. I thought it sounded interesting and saved it. Has kind of a laser or phaser cannon kind of thing going on. Perhaps an alert sound of some sort. Probably many possibilities for usage.

While making field recordings on the harvest moon trail in wolfville, ns, a bunch of kids rode past on their way to school. A few said hello. The stereo on the bikes going past is nice. These could be used as substitutes for whoosh types of audio effects. Recorded with a zoom h1n with windscreen at 24-bit 48khz resolution and cleaned up in izotope rx. Enjoy!.

Re-edited the pattern so its more of a breakbeat as opposed to glitch-beat (frickin retarded glitch people) then re-eq'd it to be more crisp (had way too much presence) then compressed it a bit & excited it (slight distortion) & took it to 150 bpm (other side of this galaxy).

The image has been exported to raw format and then was imported into audacity where i applied effects and plugins. The effects and plugins that i use for these sounds called "image sonification" are: eq, paulstretch, reverb among others.

This is my second blade effect. Let me know if it is any good. I think it sounds just a little bit better than my first one. I used a blood splatter, a shovel sound, a clothing rip, and my own swinging sound. Like always, no credit is necessary. Use it in any games or movies you make. I'll be seeing if i can use this too.

A plastic bag, paper wrapper and other materials were recorded individually being rubbed. I then layered them in audacity to be played over each other. From the resulting layered sound i generated this 10 second loop. Sounds like a mellow rain upon the ground or a slow crackling fire. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Attribution appreciated but not required.

Field recording of elevated subway train in queens. The n and w trains take a sharp turn here, causing the wheels to squeal. Recorded using tascam dr-1 on 24-bit uncompressed setting. Used roll-off at 40 hz to save my speakers. I used a windscreen to cut down on wind noise which can otherwise be a problem on this recorder.

This is a first attempt to record sound underwater, i build a small hydrophone according to the instruction gave us by digifishmusic, i could probably make it better but all considered i'm pleased whit it. The hydrophone was placed in a small river near where i live, just below the water surface but unfortunately it kept bouncing against the rocks so it's a bit noisy. Enjoy!.

It's me letting my stomach sing it's protest song to the zoom h2's front stereo mics. Recorded via usb into ardour 2 daw at 48khz/16-bit. Unedited and unprocessed - only truncated. Lots of noise but also lots of noise alone ,so you can easily denoise this for your needs.

Found this ancient mr. Coffee making these creepy sounds whilst brewing. I could get some decent "coffee brewing" sounds out of it, but the moaning and heavy breathing is what makes it. Recorded at high bit rate, so there's plenty there to manipulate into a sucking chest wound death rattle or whatever you're into. Casio mt-36 drum hits. A bit quietly and noisily recorded, but my soundcard can't do much better. Amazing analogue(?, some sounds sound like semi-digital) drum hits, sound kinda like sega genesis noises coupled with a roland 808 charm. I think you may find something worth preserving here - i think at least they're very worth preserving.

My headset was plugged in into internal audio device, capture level sets to maximum and used command:arecord -c2 -f cd -d 10 internalaudiodevicenoise. Wav. Yes, guys, it's linux! :-). So pretty noise generated by very cheap device!as you can see from the console command, audiofile have the next format: signed 16 bit little endian, rate 44100 hz, stereo, duration 10 seconds.

I drew this thx deep note imitation in photosounder by drawing several lines with the white spray with the harmonics modifier. I first had a look at the original thx sound and tried to reproduce what i saw. The final chorus sounds bad because it's hand-drawn, so the right notes aren't hit plus the lines aren't straight so the pitches keep moving around a bit.

This is an under water recording of some bubbles. I filled up a laundry bin with water, stuck a sennheisser md21 (dynamic omnimic) wrapped in a plastic bag in there (under the water level). I pumped bubbles from the bottom of the bin through a bicycle pump. Gear used: md21 -> m-audio dmp3 -> terratec ewx2496. Completely unprocessed, 2:43 of 24 bit 44khz wave. Submission for the earthfirewindwater contest.

Two-pole circuit breaker recorded held in my hand, also pressed against a wooden board for more resonance. And some rattling mechanical handling noises at the end. Useful as electrical switch click. 96 khz, 32-bit float. Tlm-103 mic straight into pro tools. The only processing is a mild gate. At least it has a good noise floor.

Here's some more of that young couple next door. They did a quick one, about 10 minutes or less. Sounds like they enjoyed it. Got some good loud sounds of the woman. There's a bit of the man too but hard to hear. The sex parts are from 1:45-4:40, 2:30 is when the woman starts to make loud moans. This was edit and shorten with audacity.
