Recorded in nuuk, greenland, outside the city. A big pile of snow melting on the mountain's side made this little stream of water. Recorded with tascam dr-10048000 hz stereo, 16-bit wave pcm uncompressed.

We poured some water and put ice and then drank the water at home to make it sound like a pub.

Came upon a rock wall full of icicles in the forest, and recorded myself breaking them. One of my favorite sounds, so many rich tones and dramatic cymbals. A recording of me walking through the snow which was fairly soft fluffy snow. There are also some places in the recording where i step on some brittle ice which crunches cracks louder.

Very clean recording of an ice cream truck outside, playing joplin's "the entertainer". I started and stopped and awkward times since we were in between takes, but if you have sound skills, its easily loopable. While on set in downtown la, an ice cream truck visited our crew. The rest is history. .

Something shattering.

Closeup recording of ice cubes being dropped into a small glass and then rattled around. Could sound cool layered with other rattling sounds, and could maybe pass for other objects being dropped and rattled. Recorded with a roland r-26 recorder and tidied up in pro tools.

I needed a sound effect for an audio project, specifically the sound of someone moving around in a bathtub full of water and ice. Being too lazy to go out and get a carpload of ice cubes, i raided the ice-maker in the refrigerator and built up a stockpile, then dumped them all into the metal kitchen sink, added some water and a few empty ice cube trays for flavor, and stirred them about using a glass mixing bowl and a wooden spoon.

Recorded inside a home freezer. At 35 secs the sounds of cracking open or unwrapping something frozen begin. The freezer hum is very audible throughout.
