A recording of cameron, my cat, in the upstairs hallway letting us know she caught one of her toys. She howls like this most every night usually when we're downstairs watching tv. I'm guessing she feels we're not paying enough attention. Cut out all the silence between the yowls and added splice markers for use in a make noise morphagene.

Part of "semiloopdrumsamples" package, please dl the whole package. . With 'semilooped' i mean that only the ride and hihat are longer loops and the kick and snare is separate for better flexibility. I only made basic patterns tho as this package is mostly meant for creating custom playalong/click tracks. No eq's, i'll let the user do that. . Again for flexibility. All samples are stereo(48khz24bitflac), since the sound of the kick naturally leaks in the overheads and the overheads are a big part of the snare sound.

This is a recording of the doppler heart monitor that doctors use to check out baby's heart during pregnancy checkups. This was was made on february 28, 2007 at sutter in berkeley, ca by plugging my marantz recorder into the doppler instrument. There is a bunch more that is my wife's and the baby's intermingled (with the recorder plugged in we had no way to monitor), but this is the section that has the fetus isolated. If anyone is interested in the whole thing, let me know and i'll put it up.

Recorded this in my backyard at midnight, my neighbors probably hate me now. Recorded on a tascam dr-70d with a rode ntg-3. File is stereo but contains two of the same mono track for ease of use. This was a happy accient. I was charging a drone battery though an adapter with overvoltage protection, which started beeping and increasing in frequency as the battery got close to full charge. There is a good bit of sound at the end, when i pulled off the battery and the capacitors in the charger discharged. :). Have fun with it! if you want, let me know what you did with it. Cheers!. This mp3 contains a series of sounds that can be divided into individual elements if needed. I set down a full, unopened can of beer several times on a hard surface. Then i opened the can of beer. Then i placed it down again and flexed the aluminum a bit. Finally, i took a long gulp of beer and let out a satisfied "ahhhhhh!" now i'm drinking the beer as i upload this file. Mmmmmm. . . Beer.

Stopped in a tiny museum in kansas and the curator turned on the 1900s edison photograph for me and let me record the classic sound of music with all the hums and associated scratches. Noises from an old gdr tube radio (1966, oberon) when tuning through mw, lw and ukw bands. I tried to separate the different noises and let them be heard for a few seconds so you can edit the noises you need. First there's lw, then mw then a few noises from buttons on the radio then ukw at the end with fragments of some german radio stations in 2021.

Error beep from the colorino talking color identifier and light probe, a pocket sized 2-in-1 unit, which is a color identifier/light detector for the blind and colorblind. This happens when the detector is not flush with the object you're trying to read the color from, so it lets in too much external light. Recorded from line-in on my desktop.

Busy street in tokyo during the evening rush hour. I placed a pair of mics at 120 degrees between 2 stop lights on a busy street. There are 3 distinct "waves" of traffic let through the lights and all our recorded well. The panning is quite dramatic, so you really get a sense of movement.

Opening a sliding door to a lot of chatty morning birds. You can hear a some fire truck sirens far in the background. After a few minutes, door is closed, i let you hear the difference, and we’re done. Recorded with a tascam dr-05 at about 5 am. Converted to mp3 with command “lame --preset extreme” since it’s rather huge. Not normalized; lame reports a playback gain of +21 db.

Whenever i use my usb stick, my computer always makes an awful noise. I decided to record it and see if any of you guys can make anything out of it. To me it sounds like some sort of aliens or robots talking to each other. The only editing done was noise removal to get rid of the fuzziness and amplification to make it a little bit louder. I mounted the mic inside and on top of the car and drove trough the city, recording some ambulance, traffic, and a scooter that was tooting, later i turned of engine, opened and closed the car door and startet the engine, maybe you find it useful, let me know :). I bring the uoki-toki polivoks vcf to self-oscillation and tune the vcf to ca 270hz too. I let the lfo sweep the frequency. Cv1 pot at ca 70%. What happens. . .

I took the groovy part from zagi2's sound fata morgana (mirage) 3. Wavhttps://www. Freesound. Org/people/zagi2/sounds/369208/it's 2 bars. Cut it up in 8 parts. Call them 1 to 8. I let excel randomize function give me 16 numbers between 1 and 8. Then i merge my parts in that order. Result an 8 bar loop. Done in audacity. Did not have to use number 1.

File i recorded while at work on a telephone pole. I found a span of the steel cable they string between the poles that hold phone lines or cable lines. But this was just the bare span and nothing touching it. If you hit them with a wrench they make weird laser gun sounds. Recorded with my phone and cleaned up a bit in audacity. Use as you please.
