This recording was made using a home constructed "dummy head", and so should be listened to on headphones for the full effect. It was recorded in a local ornamental garden.

Experiments with ornament & crime "viznutcracker, sweet!" mode into braids generated several minutes of digital glitch sounds. These were then edited into a morphagene reel (and one-shot sample pack). The sounds are useful in isolation. Single splices can be looped and stretched into drones, triggered as percussion effects, etc. These sounds also work as a glitchy performance pool, and can be layered and juggled through a morphagene performance.

The sound of a teabag squeezer hitting the lid of an ornamental brass pot. It creates a generic "ding" sound. There is a small amount of static noise in the background. Sounds slightly like a triangle i guess. Recorded with a cheap pc microphone.

Windy suburban night. Recorded from a upstairs bedroom window with a h4n. Wind chime. Cars passing by in the distance. Metallic bang from garden ornament. A tiny bit of wind artifact which the rycote wind jammer didn't catch. Crickets singing happily. Very big gush of wind can be heard near the end of the sound file.

The snailhorn is a wind instrument. (skrt. Skankha, tib. Dung kar, jap. 陣貝, jinkai, 法螺貝, horagai)it is from the shell of a snail manufactured, the tip is detached. Often the snail shell by engraving or ornamented metal versions. Sometimes it is also a mouthpiece of metal used. With hindsight bubbles - similar to a horn or a trumpet - creates a distinctive, penetrating tone. The snail horn is used in different cultures and different symbolic meanings. Large metal sheet and ornamental metalwork gate to village cemetery opened and shut, creaking on it's hinges. Recorded around midnight to avoid bird and insect calls - despite this precaution there were birds calling in the distance. On arrival i saw there was a house adjacent to cemetery. Fearful of waking the non-dead i didnt hang around for more than two bad takes. I've added this not so impressive recording to give a taste of what i hope to record of this wonderfully vocal gate in the future.

This historic "flute clock" (orgeluhr) is a precious mechanical clock, with a small organ is combined. Given time to hear music from a pen-driven roller. Flötenuhrbaues the heyday was the late 18th out century. Flute clocks were built for affluent, culturally sophisticated circles, educated people with appropriate art and music understanding. The finest pieces built in vienna and berlin. Easier flute watches were up to about 1850 in large quantities in the black produced. They played for entertainment in guest houses. Several well-known composers wrote works specially for this instrument, as george frideric handel, carl philipp emanuel bach, haydn, antonio salieri, wolfgang amadeus mozart or ludwig van beethoven. Flute watches with great restrictions than their recorded music era to consider it forced the composer to be exact instructions in execution ornamentation and tempo. The coupling of wind plant and roll can be traced back to minimum tempos and makes historical flute clocks so interesting for issues of historical performance practice.
