My first little attempt at making some film-like sound effects. Alot of bass in this one, tried to cut it below 30-50hz. I just want to point out to the people having a listen, that the sample that streams on the website has a small static-like noise in it. . The download version will not have this noise, i believe the compression for streaming degraded the sound a bit.

No limiting used. Each articulation was carefully played and gain adjusted to seem as natural as possible. My goal was to also create a multi sampled snare drum that could be drag and dropped into a sampler with ease. This is the unprocessed version of my "sci-fi ambient drone" upload. It's creative commons cc0, so please treat it as public domain. You can use it in any commercial or non-commercial media for free, no restrictions. I took a quick 8-second drum loop from my teenage engineering po-33 (ko) and ran it through a free time-stretching/pitch-shifting program called akaizer. This program is based on old samplers like the akai s1000 that had extremely artifact-heavy time-stretching and pitch-shifting features. If you slow a sound down enough, the final product tends to sound harsh and electric. Akaizer turned my 8-second drum loop into 2 minutes and 38 seconds of harsh, bassy noise, pretty damn close to the final. Enjoy :).

Made using a logic x. Cant beat a good arpeggiator. I put this together for a cheesy action movie style entrance after the hero is presumed dead but makes a dramatic return with plenty of smoke and back lighting. Enjoy.
