The Armstrong Twins and Harold Hensley perform Stuck Up Blues, Mandolin Boogie and Bill Cheatum at KXLA's Hometown Jamboree on July 4, 1949. The Hometown Jamboree was one of the west coast's most popular barn dance shows and was led by Cliffie Stone. On Bill Cheatum, Harold Hensley is on fiddle and Eddie Kirk plays guitar. Die Armstrong Twins und Harold Hensley spielen den Stuck Up Blues, den Mandolin Boogie und Bill Cheatum live im KXLA Hometown jamboree am Abend des 4. Juli 1949. Harold Hensley wird bei Bill Cheatum von Eddie Kirk an der Gitarre unterstützt.

Some wah wah guitar i recorded for a video, sharing the guitar take from the track. Tascam dr-40 through a digital performer drv-100 (best mic i had at the time) recording a stratocaster playing through a crybaby wah pedal into a fender twin reverb amp.

This is a piece i wrote this morning and recorded on my zoom h2n. A fan is running the background. I think this piece just has a cool acoustic, outdoorsy morning type vibe.

Arpeggios in bm key : bm, am5b, g, f#7. Played on acoustic nylon guitar. Melancholic / sad feeling, the second chord has a dissonant flat dominant to give a hint of strangeness to the phrase. Sound capture using internal guitar electronics (godin multiac grand concert duet). Recording device is a tascam gt-r1. Initial sound was stereo with left and light sides 180 degrees out of phase. I converted to mono using audacity. Recorded on the 12-dec-2015 in houston, texas.

Ambient guitar melody layered with multiple other sounds. 110bpm.

This is a sawtooth waveform suitable for easily tuning guitar by ear, comprised of 20 seconds each of e-a-d-g-b-e in sequence. Adjust guitar volume to same volume as the tone, ideally through the same audio output. Tune the string close to the tone, then listen for the subtle beat-frequency indicating not-quite-perfect tune. When the beat frequency goes away, your guitar string is in perfect tune. Also useful for adjustable bridges. The open string and its 12th fret octave will both produce no beat-frequency when the bridge is adjusted properly.

Dark analogue synthy sound created by a low tuned electric guitar, plucking an open low 'c' string. Effects used is a combination of a zoom bass multi fx pedal and a boss dd20 delay pedal. Recorded direct to a tascam digital recorder.
