Digging into mud: using a shovel to dig into muddy ground, flattening the ground with the shovel. Recorded with a zoom h6 (rode ntg-2). Recorded in a room with good acoustic. It can be used for a scenario where someone is digging a hole, working in the garden.

Walking on a wooden floor with flip flops has a much different effect than walking on the same floor with different shoes.

Walking a dog in a small forest park in a nice summer warm dry weather. Mainly you can hear footsteps, birds, sometimes the (midsized) dog going by and breathing. Rarely cars in distance. Very calm quiet track, the dog doesnt bark. Its more relaxing.

Dragging a cinderblock across a concrete floor. One quick footstep readjustment, then more dragging.

Stick hitting dirt. To be used to simulate bullets hitting ground.

Stomping on a big cement ground as hard a possible with a contact mic attached to the ground. The contact mic provides lots of bass so you can use this for punches, kicks, impacts, anything that can use a sweeter for impacts. I handmade my contact mic and recorded that into a h5. Sounds of the construction site. Compressing the ground for the concrete.

Varied hits on materials in my basement - cardboard boxes, a treadmill, wooden table, etc. . . Most of the sounds from this pack were extracted from a recording of me striking said objects with my palm. Because of proximity effect, i found some of these to be useful for the sound of an object hitting the ground.
