How does earth should sound? uh. . . I don't know, but i started to my make some noise with this old dead plant. I duplicated 6 times the track with different treatement on each ; pitch, overdrive, lo-pass, delay etc. . It's now sound more like earth quake than anything else. . .

This is a harshly manipulated file of rumbling that has been tweaked to the max by plug-ins and various noise making enhancers meant to simulate the sound of impacting. This, combined with the gentle rumble to accentuate.

Im resonanzkörper sind acht unterschiedlich lange, fein gestimmte klangstäbe, die kreisförmig auf einem metallring festgemacht sind. Durch leichte bewegung des klangspiels wird ein kleiner schlägel auf die klangstäbe angeschlagen. Dadurch entstehen sphärische klänge, die lange nachhallen und sehr angenehm beruhigend wirken. Koshi-klangspiele gibt es in den vier stimmungen (elementen). Wasser - feuer - erde - luft. Hergestellt in den pyrenäen in reiner handarbeit.

This is my competition entry for earth. It is comprised of copies of a kick drum recording and a high hat recording i've done with some phase vocoder processing. This short sound is really about 7 tracks of layered audio.

I've actually been frustrated with the lack of earthquake-type sounds, sooo i attempted my own. Not very good. It consisted of different items making different sounds, then slowed down, pitch change, some reverse, some echo, blah blah blah. It's a mess, but that's what rumbling is supposed to be, right? also, depending on your speakers, this may be very loud. . _.

This sound here is basically made up of a grenade throw and being blown up and earth noises as it whould be in real life.
