I used my bathroom as a live echo chamber - porting out from my pc, and then recording back via a neuman mic. I liked the tunefullness of the boiler pump in the airing cupboard, so left it running and put the mic in there. This is a very small piece of an overtone composition i made.

This sound is a mix of analog sound and digitally created sound. I recorded the sound of a coffee machine. Then on audacity, i generated a tone and modified its envelope. I changed the levels, added effects as reverberation and echo. I put melted at opening and closing in purpose to pretend something was taking off and landing. At first i wanted to create the atmosphere of a spaceship. But after that it looked more like a vacuum noise. I tried to modify amplification and added again echo and reverberation to make it sound more like a weird ufo. Very seletive recording of a birdsong early in the morning on the begining of april. The city ambience was heavily processed, so when the car appears it sounds quirky. Explosion sound created using a zoom h1 and tempering with metal fibers near the mic capsules. Added verb and pop compression for better flexibility. I was wearing a flat cap so the sheep thought i was the farmer and raced down the hill towards me, expecting to be fed. They were disappointed. It was early may and the air was still and clear. You can make out the echoes from the steep hill behind them.

My lights are actually connected into the wall with a switch that i can turn on/off with a seperate controller, and this switch makes this very peculiar sound when it switches on and off. I felt like it was a cool sound actually and would be great for other people to use as well in their projects!. Feel free to use whenever/however you want. Not just any thunder this! this is the spanish variety and anyone who has been around a spanish thunderstorm will know what i mean. This field recording was made from my villa and this is both rural and situated between two mountain ranges. So, you've got the thunder, the acoustics, the sound of the rain and the birds in the nearby trees. If you listen closely enough then you might hear the sound of the breeze through the palm trees. Recorded with twin directional mike pointing away from each other. . . For just about the best stereo separation you're going to get!.

The sound is produced in an enclosed area. The microphone is placed at the bottleneck in order to clearly record a very stereotypical noise. I recorded it with a zoom h4n. Seven rounds from a lever-action marlin 1984c (cowboy rifle) in. 357 magnum. In most cases, the reports come rapidly on one another - this was necessary in order to eliminate background noise pollution. In one or two cases, there is a nice "decay" as the shot echoes into the distance.

I was just messing around in audacity, doing some things with a party noise maker sound effect, i slowed it down, put some reverb & echo, messed with the pitch a little bit, and got this! it's supposed to be kinda like "trumpets in the sky" and/or war of the worlds inspired.

All i did is that i recorded and played a little riff on my violin with my ipad, and then add some reverb, and delay effects in audacity. (very eerie-like, but pretty). This kind of reverb used in the beginning and end of the riff is a cathedral room-like sound, and a few seconds of delay. I used mostly double-stops during the riff. Enjoy.
