Recorded: tascam hd-p2 and rode nt4. You can hear train on the back side.

A plastic bag, paper wrapper and other materials were recorded individually being rubbed. I then layered them in audacity to be played over each other. From the resulting layered sound i generated this 10 second loop. Sounds like a mellow rain upon the ground or a slow crackling fire. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Attribution appreciated but not required.

I recorded a crisps bag but it sounds like a number of things.

Setting off a spinning type of firecracker, sadly has some microphone wind in it.

Minigun firing for approximately 8 seconds and then stops firing. . . You then hear the rotating barrels quickly spin to a stop! i mixed this sound effect for our upcoming film and i thought i would post it here in case other people could use this sound! edit it any way you want to make it shoot at the length of time that you need! if you download this sound effect, let me know what you think of it, i love getting feedback! thanks! enjoy!!.

Some generative wildfire sfx made with sunvox. The crackling sounds were made by taking some highpassed white noise, ring modulating it with some more white noise, and then using a noise gate to usilate the loudest 'crackles'. The rumbling was created using lowpassed white noise, and the wind was made by bandpassing white noise with a high resonance and randomly sliding the filter frequency. Everything was sent into a reverb and a stereo expander.

Strong fire sound with no wood cracking; like ruptured pipeline, rocket booster, flamethrower, large gas torch, plasma/energy beam/drill, etc.

This was recorded a few feet away from an indoor fireplace. The recording was made with a tascam dr-05. Note: you may hear squeaking sounds or other artifacts in the compressed online preview. The file you download will not have these issues.
