This is my second alarm recording produced with lmms (ami evan) then imported in audacity where i recorded my own voice and added a vocoder to make it sound more robotic.

Here's audio of an actual eas "immediate evacuation" alert sent via the cap protocol, which is eas via internet, which then activates radio and tv stations ( in the usa)this particular alert was due to wildfires enchroaching on the town of silverthorne, colorado.

A stereo wav recording from a zoom h1n during a thunderstorm today. One siren picks up followed by several more producing a convincing stereo image. I have done a basic bass roll-off, but have left it otherwise untouched. If you have a spectral editor you can probably clean out more of the noise, but i couldn't do so and keep the sirens sounding good.

Theme scary siren :. Production step :i record a scream. I cut it and extract two different sounds from it. I change the pitch to get the sound more high-pitched. I also change the tempo to be more slow. I separate the track in two and invert the last part. With the enveloppe tool, i change some part of my track manually. I amplify the track. I also use the reverb effect and amplify the size of the room of 60%. I used the noise reduction. At the end i fade out. I used the noise reduction.
