Good recordings of mosquitoes are extremely hard to realize in nature. Therefore i decided to generate their sound artificially with a granular synthesizer from the sample "tropfen. Wav ".

Water comes from a faucet in the sink and flows through the drain. Wasser kommt aus einem wasserhahn in die spüle und fließt durch den abfluss.

Dripping from downpipes. Recorded with sony experia go (a phone i do not recomend - at all). Recorded with the app sound recorder. Original file format mp4 converted to wav. Applied high pass filter cutoff freq 2000hz.

A small collection of gurgles from a small water dropper/pipette. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. For this file, i isolated the samples i liked and left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. Attribution appreciated but not required.

A few sporadic waterdrops. Just a random sound i've been making with my mouth ever since i was a little kid. At the right volume it's fairly convincing. Anyway, i've been using this site for a while for a few of my own projects and felt it was time to say thank you and give something back. If you can use it for anything, then by all means, feel free. The sound was recorded with a yeti blue microphone in my room (which is not soundproofed). It is a recording of a turkey baster dropping water into a bowl full of water. Sound has many patterns of water droplets.

Sound of a single droplet. The standard sound for like a leaky faucet or a drop hitting a puddle or bucket of water. I actually made this sound with my mouth and tapping my cheek at the same time, but it is a very convincing drop sound, which can easily be looped at the speed you want for that "continuous drop" sound in the background.

I created a click track and got rid out the last two beats of each bar. I shortened the spaces between the first two beats of every bar. I then added a reverb effect and created another layer of brownian noise to even out the silence.
