This was created by recording the sound of rain as it landed in a puddle on my front yard. It sounds similar to my 'rain hitting pavement' sound, but with the added stream-like sounds made by the puddle.
Rain: thunder, drops, droplets, roof, light rain. Sounded recorded with zoom h4n, in a suburb of keszthely (hungary). Cut into loop. Converted to flac(audacity; level 8).
Freezing rain recorded falling underneath a tree at night. Some unfortunate rumble from a nearby airport, could be eq'd out (or left in for something spooky!).

The recording was made from a small kitchen measuring 3mx2. 5m during a heavy downpour outside the window with thunderclaps. Gradually the rain gets quieter. Recorded with rode tng-2 microphone and zoom h6 recorder.

Recorded in 192khz/32bit. Post editing with rx8: low/high cut with eq to reduce rumble and noise, also gain increased and cut to length. Converted to 320kbps/cbr mp3.
Spring. Wav and spring2. Wav were recorded on the same evening in may during a long rain. The two recordings are similar but still very different. I've never heard so many frogs/peepers so deafeningly loud, persistent and oblivious to humans. I tried to record where the water was running but the animals drowned out the sound of the water. Beautiful sounds.
