I recorded the sound of me tapping my dynamic microphone.

An apple impacting against a kitchen counter. Actually sounds a little like a tennis ball bouncing.

A standard ceramic hairdryer or blowdryer on the high setting.

Miked at 3-10" distance. Stove overhead fan recorded powering down, followed by subsequent power-up/power-down [mic was moved closer/further from fan, according to fan speed, in order to minimize air movement against diaphragm]. H4 zoom recorder.

This is a bass kick i made with a nice crunchy toned delay. It started life as a mono bass kick off my 808 drum machine, i converted it to stereo then inverted the right channel, i distorted it and processed it with 100% envelope to really boost the front end punch. It's c2 pitch for convenience.
