This is a random synthesized click-sound followed by a reverb with 200 ms pre-delay. I used cubase roomworks and roomworks se for the reverb, synth 1 for the click and various plugins to master the samples a little. Still they sound pretty unprocessed so you can edit them to fit your needs.

(update-june 15th, 2022. The truck is still running strong). :-) this is my ford ranger with a 170 v-6. I enter, shut the door, put in key, click seat belt, put tranny in neutral, pump gas, start and warm it up a bit. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :^).

I am a completely blind guy, but i still have a passion for these radio-controlled models, in fact this is a recording made inside the room of my apartment in the province of rieti, italy, while i'm flying a radio-controlled micro helicopter. This recording was done with my iphone connected to the shure mv88 plus stereo microphone.

The recorded noise has been filtered quite a lot, but there might still be too much left if you bring the sound to high levels. However it should work in quiet surroundings. This sound was recorded in a forested area called lot 2, a low lying floodplain in the town of coffs harbour. It might be bulldozed to make land room for houses. Metal safe deposit box lock and unlock various. This sounds offmic to me, at least the parts recorded from outside the box, probably because i confused recording from front or back on my h2- and yet i don't hear my own breathing. Anyway it's still good for anything but a cu.

Sometimes you really need to get away to peace & quiet. This recording, made with my handy zoom h4-n and its built-in stereo microphones, was made in perhaps the quietest time of the morning -- that magical time between 3am and 4:30am when the birds even are still asleep. Made in a backyard of a town of about 7-thousand people.

It's that couple again. On this day of them, it seems like they were trying to keep the noises down, but the female can still be heard. The man is same as usual. You can hear them having a conversation after they were done. The clip is cut short and edit. Some parts are silenced. Some background noises couldn't be removed all the way.

Trying to start my dads formula ford race car, its a lola 1600cc from 1984. The car has won the world championship, back in the days. After standing still for half a year, the old lady didnt want to wake up easy. Recorded with my phone.

A peaceful ambiance of some pine trees in early, early spring. The predominant, lower-pitched background is the strong south wind blowing through the tops of healthy pine trees. . . An unwavering "swooshing" that cuddles and curls around the flexible, thick-resin-filled pine needles. Also, from time to time, you hear the sound of the wind rattling some dead and brown oak leaves; oak leaves which are still stubbornly hanging on to their parent tree. I purposely did only a very bare minimum of post-processing on this sound so as to keep it as realistic as possible. Yes, there are quite a few wind rumbles that i toned down just a little bit. I did not totally get rid of the wind rumbles. I did this on purpose so you the true feeling of " being there " on that mild, but still raw cold day of spring could still be felt. At 4:35 into the soundscape the trilling of a pine warbler is heard---a warble of warm-sounding notes fighting back stubborn winter. At 9:33 that hardy year-round resident, black-capped chickadee starts tweeting about. Recording made on saturday march 25, 2023 using a sound devices mixpre-3 series ii and only one microphone. I used a sennheiser mkh 8070. Enjoy this soundscape of winter slowly losing its grip, as told by pine trees and brown, crackly oak leaves.

Because i consider myself primarily a harsh noise producer, i decided to upload a few examples for those who have ears still virgin to the horrors of terrorous hardcore industrial noise.

A semi-rare and priceless recording (at least to me) of a whippoorwill; a bird who, unfortunately, is declining in many areas of the country. This recording contains more hiss than many of my existing nature recordings, but i still want to post it so you can get sample of this wonderful signature sound of summer woods at dusk. Recording made in the shawnee national forest in late may of 2010 using my zoom h4n recorder. I used an audio technica at8035. I was trying out this microphone. This particular microphone does have a narrow acceptance angle, which is probably 1 reason for the hissiness. Still, go out in the summer woods around dusk sometime and maybe you will get lucky and hear this beautiful little bird whose distinctive calls have livened up the woods for generations of many youngsters – including me!.

This is a noise i made myself with my mouth and an h4n and slowing it down to 80%. I was looking for the sound of a sheep eating, and believe it or not, i did manage to find one here. Damn, i love this place--you guys are the best!! still, it wasn't quite as graphic (or over the top) as i needed so i made this one. Enjoy.

I was just about to start recording a new radio show when the phone rang. I thought it was going to be a scammer but it was just a friend. Got back in here after eating lunch and found this still in the goldwave window, so i decided to upload it.

I have no idea what this was. I don't know if it's my voice or an external sound i didn't hear while recording. It was found randomly on my most recent recording of playing containment breach, and it was very quiet, so i increased the volume to try and figure out what it was, but it's still a mystery to me. Sooooooooooooo. . . . Here ya go!.

A piece of pump organ improvisation with very little harmonic movement, but much space for the "breathe" of the instrument and the superposition (german schwebung) between the tones, the tones that swing between the tones in different time and tones. The haunting call of the pileated woodpecker, the largest woodpecker in the united states. It's quite an experience to hear this loud, rattling call break the stillness of the peaceful woods. You can also tell these beautiful birds around by looking for fairly large, rectangular holes in the trees. Recorded with my zoom h4n recorder and using the internal, built-in microphones. The location was the shawnee national forest.
