A wooden plate on which people write his/her wish is called 'ema' in japanese. I hope the spelling won't be funny in your languages, though. Those emas are hung on the metal shelf in a temple in kyoto city, and the wind blows strongly on them. Wooden plates and metal bars rattle. Low rumble cut by eq. Edirol r-44 and audio-technica bp4025.

Walking around the night market on sunday april 2nd 2023, in chiang mai, thailand. Starting outside a bar where a band is doing an improv music set, then walking down the road passing stalls and people from all around the world. Feel free to use it however you wish, but if you do, leave a comment here and tell me where it's used, i'm curious to hear :).

An interesting recording of birds, led by blue jays, doing their alarm calls. I was in the middle of the woods when i noticed that the birds seemed to be alarmed like there was a predator nearby and sure enough, i finally spotted a big barred owl sitting high in a tree about 50 yards from my recorder. Pretty amazing how the bird community sounds the alarm.

This is a basic dubstep beat. It was done in reason 7. It is useful in that it shows you a good way to construct a beat. It consists of four 4-bar measures, each progressing from the previous. In this way, you can see how to write a good beat, by starting off simple and building from there. Traditional dubstep drums are very spare and sporadic with the use of symbols. I never liked drum beats until i heard dubstep !.

This is the latest homework i have done, for this one i imagined this:its as if you were hearing from the ears of the person in the cashier spot, at a busy restaurant, this person gets caught in a time wrap and they start to like trip on these sounds from the kitchen, the stage across the bar, and even them turning a page on their boring magazine. If you read this and haven't played it yet, close your eyes and imagine you're that person and tell me what you feel!. At this point i have learned about effects and all that(still no pro), so be sure to listen with earphones for the best experience!sounds i used:. Melodic snippets from recordings of me playing the swar sangam. This wonderful instrument is a combination of the swarmandal and the tampura. 15 harp strings and 4 drone/bass strings. In these recordings i am only using the swarmandal (harp) part. It is tuned to c sharp, but i have dropped the fourth note (f sharp) out of the scale. There are four packs with lots of recordings in them, strums, plucks, short improvisations. "short melodic statements" are 1-2 bars. "riffs" are 2-4 bars. "melodies" are about 30 seconds and "runs and flutters" speaks for itself. There is recording of tuning up the swarmandal in the melodies pack. The snippets were taken from recordings done on three different days so you may notice a slight difference in volume and background noise. A couple of the recordings have some ambient noise (bird tweets, wind chimes,)some of the melodies are based around a similar theme but have enough variation to be interesting/useful. Credit is not required but always appreciated. Linking to the sound allows others to find this amazing website. :-)i love to hear what you have used my sounds for!.

For this jazzyloop i used. Drumbot. Compiano chordsrandom progressionminor, 4 chords, 80 bpm, oo_odm, cm, c#6, f#9had to record straight to audacity. No export function. Drumbotcountry & folksmothness made a 4 bar drum sequence and exported as wav. This site (drumbot. Com) had no "bass function". . . Quick search led me to onlinesequencer. Nethere i made a bass line to the chords in 80bpm. Here you can only export to mid. . . Once again i had to record straight to audacity. Result this loop. No processing in audacity.

This is a full acoustic drumkit sampled at multiple velocities with drum sticks and brushes, it was recorded in a small jazz bar at a local music school, i recorded this a long time ago with a zoom h1 portable recorder. It would still need some sorting and tweaking to build a soundfont or hydrogen drumkit which i want to do in the future but it will probably not be anytime soon.

It was a very cold and windy day when i visited the mile high swinging bridge at the top of grandfather mountain. Unfortunately, i did not have a windscreen, so there is a bit of noise in the recording of the "singing" bridge. The reason i say "singing" is that the high winds were blowing through the 228-foot long suspension bridge bars making a haunting sort of song. It is considered the highest suspension footbridge in north america at just over a mile high.

A field recording made as i walked on the north side of bloor st w, near shaw street in toronto on the evening of 29 may 2011. This is a commercial strip with many ethiopian bar-restaurants, outside of which men gather to smoke and have conversation. You can hear some of these as we pass along bloor, as well as the conversations of other passers-by. These sounds are pretty typical of this section of bloor on a fine spring evening. Recorded with a roland r05 and accessory stereo directional microphone.
