An introduction to a jazz song i have been working on. It has a clear drum and double bass part on the start. Made in a program called musescore.

The main sound is the sound of someone playing a thumb-piano. There's also a gong, and two clock chimes. All of these i added reverb to and sloooowed dooooown about -81 percent. I think it sounds like the interior of a giant clock, but call it what you will. This sound is free, anyway. Made with audacity.

A single voice note held and then added a lot of re-verb. Mild flanger produced a sound like a blow horn.

Kick made in ableton by distorting a drum.

Stomping on a big cement ground as hard a possible with a contact mic attached to the ground. The contact mic provides lots of bass so you can use this for punches, kicks, impacts, anything that can use a sweeter for impacts. I handmade my contact mic and recorded that into a h5. Drop melody music beat trance.

Several hits on a wok pan lid produced these low pitched metallic rings that were interesting to me. I used a soft foam insulation piece to hit the lid and recorded it with a zoom h5.
