Left the lid of my top loading freezer open, you can hear the hum of the motor and also the crackle of inside the freezer. Messing around with a low or high pass filter can give a nice background white noise. Free for commercial and non commercial use as apart of a creative piece of work. We got wood brought to our house from our woodman, and we brought a few armloads inside because we are already building fires. In the middle of the night, the woodbin started to make a strange noise. I figured it is some sort of bark chewing insect, but i have not seen it yet.

I had left my recorder near the woods for a 20 minute recording of the natual sounds. When i reviewed the file i found the attached sound where a flying insect had buzzed the microphone.

Buzzing drone noise made by a toddler's toy which was malfunctioning due to low batteries. I modulated the sound by moving the mic around the toy and covering / uncovering it with a bowl during recording.
