This is a recording of men working at a construction site. You can hear individual hammers as well as a jackhammer and other machinery. Also, two men were shoveling refuse off a concrete platform and putting it into plastic bags. Attribution isn't required, but i'd love to hear anything you use it in!. Some guys across the alley were throwing things out the window this morning, which woke me up and ticked me off. Instead of yelling at them, i put up my mic and recorded the impacts. This is the raw audio from the recording (only mono, sorry, didn't have time to set up two mics). Some really nice impacts and other hidden goodies in here. Sounds like someone is hitting a metal plate on a construction site several times. It was synthesized from coloured noise on a modular synthesizer and then a small about of reverb was added.

Field recording made in boston's city hall plaza, summer 2005. Lots of miscellaneous crowd noise can be heard: footsteps, random chatter, and so on. There is also some construction being done nearby, so the noise of construction machinery backing up is also prominent at certain parts.
