Rain falling softly into a puddle of rainwater by my back basement door. Recorded at a distance, so the sound is a bit diffused and ambient.

A hillside above the croatian coastal town of brela, in the afternoon, featuring crickets, some quiet background traffic, and nothing much more. These recordings were done during my recent vacation in brela, croatia, with a zoom h2 set at 90° diffusion. They are also available as surround recordings (4ch) with the rear channels set to 120° diffusion. Just send me a message if you want them, they're just as free as the stereo ones.

I created these chimes on online sequencer and then i used audacity to add some effects to it.

This is the sound of the brood x cicadas. Close up, the cicadas have a sharper chitinous rattle. But more often the experience was a diffuse drone which was audible throughout washington, dc in may and june 2021. This recording was taken in fort slocum park, june 3, 2021.
