I used this sound years ago as an opener to one of my tracks. Very synthy and electronic sounding. Made with a roland jv-1000.

I recorded this sound on the stage (field-recording) with zoom h4n and sennheiser shotgun mic.

Rear channels of a 4ch-surround recording of the interior atmo of a small airbus passenger airliner (a lufthansa flight from london heathrow to berlin tegel). In the onset, you hear the steady drone of the jets, people talking, coughing, sneezing, newspapers rustling and notebook computers being typed on. Now and then, passengers and stewardesses pass by the aisle. Near the end, a signal bell sounds, and the drone of the jets takes on a perceivably higher tone, shortly after which the landing in berlin is announced, first in german, then in english. Recorded with a zoom h2, the mics (rear) set to 120° dispersion.

Simple dreamy pad that i might be using in a track, created using the calf plugins. A single file containing several octaves of c and g notes, suitable for cutting, looping and sampling. Have fun!.

Simple patch. Two oscillators, ring modulation, lfos, vcas and digital effects. No spring reverb this time. Important module is the clock divider. Result a generative ambient patch and sound. I recorded for 1,5h. The synth gave me some strange slow crescendo. Don't really know why. This is the last 30 min. Space drone sci-fi sound.

Field recording of a large electricity distribution transformer next to a canal in birmingham uk. There are various sound sources, and beats occur as the magneto-striction is phased by arrival time at the mic. This recording has more fundamental mode than the other two. Zoom h2 front mic wind shield some wind noise.

Accompanying synth sounds created in pure data and used in another piece but on soloing and playback i decided this was nice standalone and might be suitable for remixing so i put on freesound, partly as though i've uploaded a couple of pieces i've downloaded more than contributed so i wanted to with this piece or snippet of pieces.

Recorded using jez riley french contact microphones, on a windy day on the south coast of england. I connected a pair of contact microphones to different parts of a metal fence and let the wind do the rest. Starts off gently and gradually the intensity increases as the wind picks up. You can hear the fence rattling and a ambient drone of the wind blowing.

A low humming plays at the beginning before the microphone is moved to catch as the person presses the buttons to get a soda, becoming more erratic over time when it doesn't work. Tascam.

Sounds of the anordam, an experimental instrument that plays a 10-tone scale which consists entirely of perfect fractional divisions of the octave. The highest interval in the scale is 1/2, which means that for a given a value, half the octave will be left out of the scale.

A massive feedback sound by putting tons of delay, reverb, distortion and more weirdness on some sample. Made in ableton live 7, with freeware vst plug-ins: crazyivan and ambience.

This sound is an audio file that slowly breaks up the further it is played. I recorded this with an in-built microphone, no idea what make though. I recorded this on audacity, and added gradual distortion. Warning: you may need to turn down the volume for the last 6 seconds!.

I was slowly releasing air from a water bottle through a hole in the cap, then threw it into audacity and applied paulstretch and some other effects. Sounds like eerie hl2 citadel strange talk ambience.

Some pipes in my building must have had water running through them. Periodically came on and off. Hadn't heard it before and thought it was interesting.

Vocals through arbhar processed through microcosm and erbe-verb. Plucks from rings and plaits. Panning via x-pan and stereo strip (divkid). Rendered in reaper at 48khz 32 bit fp for morphagene. Enjoy!.

This is a recording made in the room of my apartment in italy in the province of rieti while i am playing with a radio-controlled mini helicopter. This recording was done with the shure mv88 digital stereo microphone connected to my iphone 12 pro.

The original source for stretchdrone01. Aiff. Made back in 1980 on an octave/cat synthesizer and recorded to cassette. It's from a series of work tapes that i and my friend stephen mackay made under the "band" name late capitalism. The title for this one was "a five year contract with disney". We never did much with this material so feel free to use it as you see fit. Enjoy.
