On deck aboard a baltic sea car ferry bound from rostock/germany to trelleborg/sweden. It is late evening, and the ferry is cruising clear of the harbor into the open sea. The recording features the ambient noise on deck, mainly the drone of the ship and it's diesels, some sea in the background, and the occasional door opening and closing. Recorded with a zoom h2n. These are the rear channels of a 4ch surround recording. Mics set to 120° dispersion.

There is a long tune what i made it with absynth synthesiser and i cut it to detached sounds.

Sound is an ibanez fz-7 fuzz fed back into itself into a nanoverb delay. The feedback creates a sound somewhat like a droning saxophone at times. Peak reduction done in goldwave, otherwise unprocessed.

A short layer of rhythmic clanging created as a scary atmosphere in a chase scene. Used a roland groovebox with the self-sampling utility directly to wav. I've found this method results in good sounding recordings, but reduced high frequencies. Sorry, don't know the bpm.

I'm creating a progressive loop that starts out with plenty of space between the sounds, but get progressively shorter to the point of overlapping. This is the base sound.
