This is a recording of a vitamin c tablet dissolving in a cup of water. Recorded with an edirol r-o9 and a nice hydrophone. By lifting the hydrophone in and out of the water some very nice filtering effects where created. This sound has many applications for sound design!.

I've been creating background sound effects for a haunted house i work at. I've used sounds from this site to create a lot of them but, since this is 100% original i thought i'd give back. . . Created using an sm58 microphone, protools 9, a bathroom sink, and my voice. . .
Small creek on a trail up to granite mountain on snoqualmie pass. A smaller trickle layered on top with eq to get rid of freeway noise. Recorded with x/y mics on a zoom h2n.
Do the harlem shake? why not the paint can shake?. Needed to replicate someone shaking a jerry can to check if there is fuel inside. Because someone didn't think to add water or something in it while they were on set filming the bloody thing. So the closest thing i could find to recreate the sound was an old paint can down stairs.
This is the helvetia paddle steamer boat of cgn fleet. It was moored to be renovate and repaired. Little waves make the boat pitch and the big metal rope linking the boat to the quay is producing these nice metallic noises. 48khz schoeps.

This european robin bird was singing in the debuggin drawers of the river llobregat in prat of llobregat delta. We could hear the the bird singing while the water of the river was running.
Small plate being put into water and pulled back out again. Would work well for small objects coming out of a sink, pool, tub, or shower. Drip doesn't last very long- very subdued. Quiet.
Bullfrogs and crickets at night. The first half of the recording will have some human voices in the background, the second half shouldn't have any voices but does have water noises. Recorded in a horse pasture near portland, oregon in april. The water is from a small culvert emptying into a small irrigation stream.
