This a spare recording from a short film i was making. It's a stereos track but all sounds are recorded to the left channel. This was recorded on a zoom h4n and a sennheiser me67. This sound is me walking on several surfaces near a stream in cornwall, uk. I walk in a woodland first, then on a road, then by a stream.

One of my favorite sounds is that of leaves skittering across a street on a crisp fall day. . . This, however, is elusive and tricky to record. However, here is a recording that i made this past friday october 19th, 2012 in a small town in southern illinois. It's not perfect, but i'm happy with it. Recording made at night as a cold front is moving in, using a zoom h4n recorder and my trusty rode n-tg-2 shotgun microphone. Enjoy. Kvgarlic.

Autumn is here and, to me, one of the most soothing of fall sounds is the wind blowing through the leaves of one of my favorite cottonwood tress, along with the lazy, nap-inducing sound of a propeller-driven plane slowly floating through robin-egg blue skies. This recording may sound a bit raw, because of the wind, but, i think it is nice to listen to. This was recorded using my handy zoom h4-n recorder and the microphone that i used is my trusty rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone.

A peaceful fall soundscape of the swelling of the wind as it blows through the leaves of the cottonwood tree, plus, the melancholy sound of some blue jays calling out -- to me blue jays are the iconic sound of fall. A recording of the creek mühlgraben in the bavarian forest on a trail from the village rettenbach to the peak schopf. Occasional birdsong can be heard, as well as the rustling or falling of leaves in the wind. The recording was taken at an idyllic spot where the small creek flows over pebbles and around rocks. The recording was made on 18th october 2022 at 11:52 am with my huawei p10 lite, no additional processing was applied.

I recording made near some woods of the wind ebbing and flowing on an unusually mild day in late november of 2013. What i find unique about this recording is a lone cricket calling out at various times of this recording. . . Makes for a nice, almost melancholy feeling. It is almost like the cricket is not quite ready to hide away for the winter and is taking advantage of a rare 70-degree november day to call out as if to say "hey, i'm still here, waiting. . . In the grass. ". With headphones on, works wonders in clearing your head. . . Recording made at 6:30 at night with my handy / zoom h4 n recorder using the internal microphones, and of course using a very very stout wind screen. Enjoy.
