It's snowing in october. . . In kansas. I guess winter came really early. (the leaves haven't even fallen off the trees, not to mention they are still green) so, i decided to record the sound of "snain". Enjoy! please credit me if you use it! :).

I layered a bunch of sounds and processed them to make them sound more impactful, heavy footsteps walking on thick snow,.

I recorded this in 2015 for an audio drama. It's me walking on wet, muddy ground in different speeds.

Footsteps in wet coarse sand, close up, some steps in water. Little low frequency boom noise should be remove. France, 2009. Recorded with schoeps cmc6 mk41recorded on soundddevice 744twave mono, 16 bits, 48khz.

Small plate being put into water and pulled back out again. Would work well for small objects coming out of a sink, pool, tub, or shower. Drip doesn't last very long- very subdued. Quiet.

Was cooking a ham steak one night and when poking it with a fork noticed it made some awesomely gross sounds, lol. So, like any astute audio lover, i grabbed my zoom and recorded it! did my best to not rattle the stove or anything on it. I'll put it as creative commons, since who really goes through and credits every single random sound file they downloaded on any given internet scourge? but i'm always interested to see how the sound are used - especially this one ;). This is a gurgling sound i created by accident. It's a short clip from the "new dimensions in sound (1957)" public domain clip from the prelinger collection at archive. Org. Specifically, i used this line: "as the record plays, the needle wiggles. " cut out the first part, made a loop of "the needle wiggles. . . The needle wiggles," and lowered the pitch with reapitch by two octaves. This was the result.

A long loop of rain, which could be used in a game or other project as-is. The suburban rumble has been filtered out, leaving only the sound of the rain. Drops falling on metal can be heard. ---2 primo em172 capsules -> zoom h1, 300 hertz low-cut filter.
