A laid back hip hop beat ready for looping. Mixed with audacity, deep drum is risset drum from audacity, tones are generated by audacity, and hi hat hits are recorder through a midi player. About 120 bmp, but not exactly. The beat isn't exactly on beat, which produces the laid back feeling.
A piece of some sound (short noise) repeated, then speed slide applied, like turntable spin from slower to original. Some high frequencies cut out of a more/less rhythmic noise sample laid over, quietly.

This is my second "stonerscape" that i've uploaded, the first being "creep jam". This atmosphere gives off a dark and brooding feel, my interpretation of what one may experience in a deep, suspended animation state. Glass beer bottle blow sounding like the background "whoo" effect in the movies alien and blade runner. Mono. Old school spot effect. Helmholtz resonance using a partially-filled (for pitch tuning) glass beer bottle. The resulting tone was sampled, bandpass filtered, pitch bent and laid over a copy of the original sample. Reverb added post-effect to push the sound back and smooth out some nasty quantizing artefacts caused by the pitch bender.

played live - getting some cool trippy sounds out of a little circuit i built. Jammin on the 60hz hum! i think my body was an acting as an antenna for that ubiquitous drone as i laid my hands on the device. Reminds me of certain early progpsy tunes, c. 1999. Really creates some interesting moods with a little echo. Enjoy!.

In this recording you can hear book pages being turned manually at a slow but stable rhythm, at the library la fraternitat in la barceloneta. You can hear the page sliding agains other pages, creating a sound that almost reminds us of a knife; and the noise of the page being laid down. At some point there is also the sound of fingers rubbing on the page. Recorded with a zoom h4n pro by kalina and irene, students at esmuc in the framework of the etno3 class.
