Some cafe ambience severely altered with blok modular fx. Was originally a long jam cut up into a bunch of individual files but i figured searching through them would be a pain so i merged them back into one file. So listen through and pick the sounds you like with a wav editor, or enjoy it in its own regard as abstract sound sculpture or something. I don't want to divulge too much of what the patch looked like but it random note values with each keyboard press which were then ran through a waveshaper. Later on i add some reverb and use various things to alter the panning for some strange stereo effects. Edit: you might want to use a dc eliminator on the samples because the waveshaper creates some dc offset (basically useless low/zero frequency noise for those not in the know). Some goa synth i created in fl studio a while ago using the pro 53 vst synth. Basically a saw wave form with glide or portamento, this nice lfo lpf in fl studio called fruity love synth, slight hpf, slight distorition (blood overdrive), a little compression, a little pannomatic, the right amount of delay and reverb. Presto!.

I'm trying to get some character to my modular sounds. This is a sequence with a sawtooth wave mixed with noise and joined in a vca that can distort a little. It's a vca i bought used. Don't think a new vca of the same sort distortes. I really like that. I little reverb is added to the sound. The sound is analog until it reaches the reverb. Sometime i will buy a spring reverb. Promise. But here, on the internet, the sound is digital anyway.

A modular “jazz patch”. This is straight out of the modular synth.

5 quantussy cells controlling 2 oscillators, 1 wave folder, 1 filter and 1 drum module (bmc analog drum). Even the pitch of the drum is controlled by one of the quantussy cells. The drum sound to fed to the feedback in on doepfer a-199 spring reverb.

I recorded one hour of machine composition. I did not listen to it. I did not open the file in audacity. I told my fb fiends to give me a number between 0 and 57. I got 42 (what else). This sound is minute 42 to 45 from my one hour recording. The rest is deleted. Gone.

Same program as in https://freesound. Org/s/457868/ butthe main clock (lfo_2) frequency is about 1hz. It's a minor scale?! as have split the octave in 5 equal parts. This strange scale sounds like a sort of minor scale.

Just some experimenting around with my modular. . . . . I take a signal from an lfo and split. I invert one of the signals and mix them.

Was playing with fm. Wasn't successful. Ended up with this. . . Something.

A patch i dare to call krellish. . . Both oscillators are tuned to 140hz.

Vcv-rack patch5 vclfos in a ring gives you a lot of interrelated cv. Classic. Instead of vclfos you can use looping envelopes.

Maybe a little overlong but it was trimmed down from a 45-minute recording. Try slowing it down to like 5% for some good acidic sounds.
