A simple, peaceful recording of a small patch of woods in the middle of a university city in the midwest. . . You'll hear the gentle, constant " whoosh " of the constant wind. And, occasionally, some birds. The day was mild, for the day it was recorded on february 11th, 2015, and very very bright. Recorded with the marantz pmd661 using stereo samson co-2 stereo microphoneson a tripod in a little clearing in the woods. .

I used the "the challenge. Wav" base (id: 561988) and made a simple melody with a synth, added effects and some beats. I used some fl studio effects: reverb, echo, distortion, equalization, amplify, low-fi effect, low-pass, drums and synthesizer. Amazing challenge as always, thanks badoink.

I've been looking for a similar effect for quite a few years and no one has built one. So, using a simple synth and bass drop worked wonders for what i needed. The sound effect is from the matrix and is the sound heard near the beginning when the police are attempting to arrest trinity, just before the agents get upstairs. When trinity jumps, this is that effect.

The bass drum was generated using absynth 3, as well as the other instruments that follow it. Within the software, i simply just generated a quick drum patch (for myself), which i manipulated over and over till i got several varations. I just happened to choose this one for this loop. General techno-trance and suitable for almost any genre in electronica. The loop is set at standard 120bpm for easy manipulation.

While fooling around with the beat repeat plugin in ableton one day, i noticed it would do this cool rhythmic decrescendo whenever i would hit "repeat". But not when i would export! so i just kept messing around with a simple hi-hat loop with audacity running in the background. I've cut down and sampled this recording many times, think it's time i let it go to see what the internet can do with it ;).

Chevrolet caprice from a few meters away, then changed levels, went closer. Engine accellerates, then accellerates again and drives away. Recorded for a teaser of a music video for a simple overlay. This is a simple loop of me playing some nice triplet delay textures on guitar. This is a stereo file with 2 guitars panned on the right and left, playing the same pattern in different octaves, offering a nice atmosphere. This was recorded with a hagstrom f200p (awesome p90 style pickups) on a voxac15, using a boss dd7 for the delay and a beheringer reverb unit (yeah, i love the lo-fi sound of that cheap box!).

A simple recording of a metal drawer. Recorded with zoom h4n + sontronics stc-10 pencil condensors. This was recorded in my room so unfortunately the signal to ambient noise ratio isn't great, i think it's just passable though. The sound can be used for free (though it would be great to hear about what you do with it). It may not be re-distributed as it is, or as part of a compiled sound library.

I cut out some parts of the "badoink audacity base loop" (id:540779) and did my best to make a simple song using only audacity. It wasn't easy lol, i used several effects from audacity itself: reverb, echo, pluck, distortion, equalization, amplify, change speed, change pitch and tone generator. The end result is not a masterpiece, but it was nice to participate in this challenge, thanks badoink.

The flea waltz recorded on my keyboard with dsk music box (a free plugin). It's a famous melody everyone has normaly already heard, piano beginer usualy learn this because it's very simple. If you have any suggestion to make for an other similar sound please ask me.

Tires squeal and a terrible impact is heard. What a terrible accident. Short, simple and completely bitter-sweet. Talk about coming to a complete stop?! this is what that sounds like. Recorded with the yamaha ypg-525 keyboard using the sound effects that were provided using audacity and a little creativity. No acknowledgement is necessary, but most appreciated. The context of this audio is as follows: the brazilian youtuber gabs was playing a game made in the rpg maker and in the game he had the option of "sleeping alone" or "sleeping with his mother" after he chose to sleep with his mother shortly after an audio of moan is reproduced wanting to imply an incest after what happened the youtuber is totally disgusted and surprised. And gives rise to this audio.

This is a simple recording of open air white noise of a quite room. I've used this in quite digital passes in some of my original music to help make the digital instrument sound a little less sterile. This is a full unedited take. You will want to crop the start and end sections so you don't here me cutting the recorder on and off ect. I hope you can use this if you need it!.

This sound was very simple to make. I just took the sound of an opera singer singing a scale and added reverb to it. Nothing more, nothing less. The sound does not have to bee used for just ghosts, but pretty much anything. Like an opera singing in the shower. By the way, this sound was used in a song that i made. This is a series of sounds created using brown or brownian noise to generate 'silence' that can be put into the background of videos (or other media). The names are just descriptive to differentiate them and don’t include any added sounds. If the sound of one is close, then try others in the pack. A night-time birdsong. A simple single bird singing at night. Recorded in the fields above my home at night. The bird seemed to be responding to a particularly bright light in the vicinity hence seeming daylight or even 'dawn'. Recorded adhoc using an iphone!. Cropped in audacity; and saved as aif file. This is just a simple four to the floor kick drum pattern at 120 bpm. I created the kick itself by layering various synth timbres in rob papen's albino plugin. Processing was also applied such as compression, eq and using subtle distortion in specific frequency areas to get it sounding like this.
