I Feel You by Soft and Furious

This is a digital swoosh sound that i made for a track because i couldn't find one so i made it my self using a synth and an fx vst, it sounds like a cross between a sea wave and a jet pass.

A little study in c. I'm still trying to learn fl-studio. This is a little techno loop. I have used the flex synth (fl plugin) and minisynth (fl plugin). I'm using only effects from the standard (cheapest) installation.

This is a chord loop at 74 bpm it bounces back and forth between b minor and a major (key of a major). This sound was recorded using propellerhead reason 7. 1 via a motu 828 mkiii on 7/12/2014 the synth used is my korg polysix. Enjoy.

the krell patch was conceived by fab wiggler vgermuse, who can be found in the buchla forum!(dcramer, muffwiggler. Org). This is some sort of krell-ish patch. But i don't have an envelope generator with eoc function. . .

The sound is going through zoom ms-70cdr. I use the "particer" reverb program. It acts like a compressor and limiter too. . . Kills the dynamics of the modular. Nice anyway - or not. . . And i use the ladik r-330 reverb too.

A sound cue i designed with a euphoria synth pad from garageband on my macbook pro. Track used to underscore a powerful scene between 2 residential school survivors for the theatre production called 'nicimos: the last rez christmas story'. The play ran from nov. 24 to dec. 19, 2014.

This sound was made with 3 lfos, 1 vco and 1 vca. It was decided that the sound should be 30s. It took some tries for me to set the lfo that controlled the vca. The vca controls the output amplitude of the sound.

Ambient music shaped by two sloth lfosmuch reverb! very much. . . . Oh yes, some "ambient noise" toolets call this patch "instant generative ambient patch"one sloth generates triggers. One controls pitch cv. Noise through filter controlled by 2lfosh. And loads of reverb.

I made it using modbox. It possibly could be good for a video theme or something like that. Though it sounds a lot like my other ones. :).

Samsung or iphone style alert tones, made by converting existing mobile phone tones to midi and then playing with a synth (omnisphere) and changing the odd note.

Had a patch. Changed speed, attack and delay time. Got this. A bubbly noisy landscape. At the end i dissconect the "main lfo". The one thats makes things advance. But beyond that i get sounds.

Suicidal pill was played originally on a grand piano. The melody is looped, becoming more distorted each time.

While i'm at it. Another electronic minute. Made this patch really fast. No random! i use chaos. You can loop this sound. A modular is like sound lego. I like that. Relaxing. Well, not the sounds. . . Totally unedited sound.

Using nonlinearcircuits sloth lfo (regular version) to control volume, pan an some other stuff. . . Always nice to see/hear chaos in action. Sloth delivers cv and let me play with a ruffly tuned chord that goes thoughan analog delay pedal.

Guiro sound made of rim shot sound in behringer rd-8 with built-in high pass filter and retrigger with accent. Recorded with zoom h1 at 96khz and 24bits. Filtered of low range noise, tirmmed and normalized in edison in flstudio. Editing made sample 32-bit.

This is made by feeding homemade images to audiopaint 3. 0 while its oscillators are tuned to randomly-selected scales. Some of them use sine waves, while others use custom waveforms.

A lot of texture! yeah! even analog modular synths can create texture. . . Well not much of a surprise but i'm getting somewhere. . . !. Have to note what i have done. 1. Modulating a full wave rectifier at audio rate. Fixed modulating frequency. 2. I mix my the output of my two osc and clockmy clock divider with that and take /2 to mixer. Reverb is space hole on my zoom ms-70cdr.

In this patch i’m using doepfer a-160 clock divider as a sub bas generator. Square wave out from doepfer a-110 to trig in on a-160. I guess a square wave makes it easier for a-160? /4, in this patch, out to uvcf. The sawtooth from a-110 to another nice filter - the wasp filter. The transient modules 8s sequencer gives us an 8 note sequence. A copy of the sawtooth melody is going to an analog delay stomp box from joyo and back to the synth. Wrote/recorded a free dance tune at 120bpm using ableton live 9. The notes revolve around: c, g, d, e, dableton stock drum rack w/ stock samples for the percussion section. Mod amp sine bleep for the side toms. Ableton stock grand piano for piano. Muggy stock plugin for the synth-like parts w/ pitch bends in the midi. The deep, low octave sound effect popularised by eric serra for the goldeneye film score. It is available on the e-mu proteus 2 fx synth module under the patch "infinite". Alternatively, you can make a similar sound by sampling a woodblock/tambourine/cowbell and then pitching it down heavily (with added reverb).

Smooth fm chords for calm atmosphere in movie. Use fat low pass filter depending on your taste. Highs should be mostly removed, i left them there - you need to decide how much highs you want to keep. It reminds me roland sound. Optionally add roland chorus tal-chorus-lx.

Percussion made in blok modular. Kind of morphs around but plenty of bongos and some kind of shaker towards the end. You can maybe get a couple of claps out of the end part too. Sometimes sounds a little too fm-y (think sega genesis sounds) but others sound pretty organic imo.

A clash cymbal turned down to 10 bpm, repeated on different tones depending on my mood and a triple osc was added. Effects: massive delay and reverb, echo and a compressor.
