Field recording at the beach, very close to the sea shore and water. With some processing, the waves could be transformed into missile launching sounds.
Atlantic ocean surf recorded on the beach right at the water's edge during an evening in september 2009. Some birds (plovers?) can be heard towards the end of the recording. Recorded with binaural mics (sound professionals sp-tfb-2) and edirol r-09hr digital mp3 recorder.

Ambient recording of waves breaking on the beach at bournemouth, uk during storm august 2021. Stereo recording 120degrees separation which produces quite a lot of wind noise. Recorded on zoom h4n pro using the built in mics.
Front of the lagoon, la saline les bains – reunion island, 2018/08/01 at 14h30. You can ear children playing in the water and big waves front of the coral reef on the background, recorded with an olympus ls100, flat.

The morning after christmas 2022 on hood canal. There was a king tide that came up over the stone wall. A king tide occurs when the sun, moon, and earth are in alignment and the combined gravitational pull causes water levels to rise dramatically. I took this recording right next to the pilings where the dock is connected. You can hear the water hitting the metal and wood as it knocks it around. The water eventually washed over the road.
Ocean waves at point reyes. Edited as a loop with no enhancement. Using a sony mz-rh1 minidisc recorder with unmodified panasonic wm-61 electret condenser microphone capsules. The left and right omnidirectional capsules are separately mounted in lavalier housings that allow independent placement when recording.
Afternoon ocean waves, recorded atop of some rocks with a tascam dr-40x. Taken around sandy point bird sanctuary in west haven connecticut on may 20, 2022. Unprocessed, straight 45 minutes of audio. Water laps across rocks, tides come and go. Beginning has sounds of me putting the recorder down and moving some stuff around (whoops!).
Recorded on a damp night from a beach house at wrightsville beach, north carolina. Audio has been treated for some wind. The whole recording was like an hour long but i couldn't upload that much. Tip: to extend the sound, you can cross-fade this sample pretty much anywhere with itself and the effect is virtually unnoticeable.
Recording of a computer graphics card. Captured closing using a "telephone" pickup coil and a zoom h5 recorder. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know!.
This was recorded next to the shore of the tennessee river near savannah in west tennessee with a samsung galaxy phone. The video was poor quality however i used blender to separate the audio from the video. This was altered slightly with audacity to reduce the constant noise of a distant motor boat.
Future bass supersaws, created with xfer serum in reaper. Decided not to use this chord progression for my track, but perhaps it can be of use to someone!. License: cc0.
Night time field recording on a bush path about 50m from the ocean. Some suburbia sounds such as cars, dog and a plane creep in. Basic clean up and processing on this file.
This sound is entirely made with audacity, i played with the noised and reverberation on several tracks, then i shifted the tracks to create a come and go effect. I also reduced the volume on some parts of the tracks. This sound remind me of a windy weather near the ocean.
Small waves ( 30cm) are breaking on the sand. Close up with clear details. Mics are very close to the water, following the movement. No disturbing noise. Corsica, mediterranean sea, 2020. You can also lesen to "small waves on the sand general. Wav" on the same beach:https://freesound. Org/people/bruno. Auzet/sounds/542121. Recorded with an ab stereo set of clippy em127recorded on sounddevice 63324bits, 96 khz, stereo.
I recorded this sound on a beach in normandy. It is a close recording of waves crashing on the sand. You can hear the different sounds produced by the water, and the ambiant atmosphere of an oceanside. After recording this sound, i improved it on audacity. I reduced the noice and the wind, then i add a fade in and fade out to make it smoother. This sound is very relaxing and satisfying.
Zoom h4n on a tripod next to the columbia river near portland/vancouver. Along with the river, a train crawled along nearby as a few planes came in for landing at pdx.
