A wonderful background of a busy college campus during finals week. I love how the scattered fragments of conversation show inspiration in young people. You will also hear some beautiful wind, footsteps, and some recently arrived spring migrants who are just as excited about the new semester and the humans. Recorded in april of 2017 in a beautiful wooded walking path in the middle of a major midwest university. Listen, enjoy, and think back to the times when we were young, and excited about the future. . . . About learning new things. . . . I find this snapshot quite inspiring and invigorating. One of a series of sounds i made using a small squeeze toy that just happens to be shaped like a cob of corn. I felt like the expulsion of air made a nice swishy ui sound. Recorded with a rode nt1 into a universal audio arrow.

This is a very quick and dirty lo-fi recording of a very unsettling noise i am currently hearing outside of my 2nd story bedroom window. I have no clue what it could be. I have lived here for over a decade and never heard this sound. It's like wind, but it keeps fading in and disappearing again. When it starts, it sounding like very rapid, almost whistling, shallow breathing. I can't imagine what is making this sound, but it's pretty unnerving, and i'm too creeped out to open the curtains. I'm hoping someone can recognize this and tell me what this is because i'm starting to get very uncomfortable after about 10 minutes of hearing this on and off again. I am attempting to record it as it happens, so i've got several recorded instances of this if you want to hear more of it.

This is a 'helicopter' esque pass by created with my vocals, a tone generator and a guitar tremolo pedal. I think this could be best used as a layer. It really needs some background noise and potentially more engine noises to sound realistic. Use it as you like!.

I recorded this using my small sony cybershot camera. You'll notice that the wind goes from loud to soft to loud again, repeating. This because i am opening the window wide and then after a few seconds i close the window but not completely so that i get some low whistling sounds from the wind. I recorded for 18 minutes and i used audacity to edit it. Hope this sound is useful for you!.

A recording made in the shawnee national forest in illinois on the very first day of october, 2022. This recording was made at mid-afternoon and features the peaceful, pleasant wind through the deciduous trees. From time to time though, the soft call of a nuthatch or a chickadee reminds us there is still bird life in the early autumn woods. Birds getting ready, getting stocked up for the upcoming northern assaults of cold air this winter. Some crows really start to put on a show towards the end of this stereo recording. Recorded in stereo using a zoom f4 recorder. Microphones:left channel- neumann km184right channel - audio technica bp4025.

Me playing around with some zips and clothing to get various sounds. There are two types of zips recorded. One for a piano bag and one for a recorder case. The clothing is two types of hard and softer more malleable jean material. Recorded with zoomh5 at 96hz. Raw file recordings with a bit of noise reduction.

Now this sfx is my pride and joy. I acted quickly to get materials to work together to make this sound. I pulled a rope through the belt-eyes of some short pants, which would be the ropes releasing from the bag. Then i fluttered the pants to sound asif wind and the parachute material was colliding, making the sound so much more convincing.

Recorded at the side of a lake on easter 2023. You can hear the wind rustling through the trees. Some background noises are audible, including passersby and what sounds like a camera shutter. I recorded myself banging a pot and pan together at my local baseball diamond. Didn't see anything like this on here, so i decided to upload it.

From 1:00-2:00in the sky a long way behind me and to the left, but somewhat far in the air, a group of birds are fighting above a large group of trees that are shaped like a ball of veins. Most of the birds are crows, or just black birds; each noise they make is a series of “caws” no different from each other in pitch, tone, or frequency. There's also the sound of 3 small birds directly to my right around 5 meters away from me, making loud but shrill chirping sounds. The birds are each the same size but and are hopping around the perimeter of a cactus right behind them. The wind blows onto the right side of my body and the front of my body. Waves from the ocean are crashing directly behind me, each in long sessions. The way they sound is consistent, like the sound of rain. Occasionally one of the waves will crash, increasing in volume but not in pitch or tone.
