Occasional birdsong can be heard, as well as the rustling or falling of leaves in the wind. The recording was taken at an idyllic spot where the small creek flows over pebbles and around rocks. The recording was made on 18th october 2022 at 11:52 am with my huawei p10 lite, no additional processing was applied.

Inspired by recent makenoise cicada series. Added clouds to an o-ctrl (fast) sequenced mimeophon output and sending partly back though feedback loop. X-pan did the rest using ochd as the lfo mod. Source for panning and fade in/out.

It was quite windy and the rain hit the windows really hard. The wind tinkled the lamp. I recorded this sound by positioning a rode nt1 a few decimeters away from the lamp. You can hear some talking in the background. Recommended audio edit: low cut at 30 hz and soft high cut (6db/oct)starting at 1. 5khz.

This is recorded at droescher's mill in cranford nj. The local dam used to power a waterwheel. The wheel is no longer in operation but it's still a nice relaxing spot. A little waterfall is in the foreground, a big waterfall (the dam) is in the background, and the sounds of traffic are audible faintly. This time i promised my self to make my cuts more musical, you guys know, good outside (or) inside recording can be esthetic in many ways. When you walk around and listen carefully, you can hear music everywhere. When i got home i began chopping, an then i realized i could turn this mini recording session into some cool loops as well. I think its a good way of practicing sound design(or anything musically), to just limit your self some times. Basically got the idea when i was studying musique concréte. (concrete music). Could upload the samples if some one is interested?. I used no effects at all, no panning (stereo recordings) or no limiters/compressors. Some of the recording where made by using binaural microphones. I recorded everything with my zoom h4.

It is a sound that, despite presenting some variations, transmits relaxation, thanks to the fact that it is not a very strong sound and is originated from nature. It did not have to be triggered, it is the natural song of a bird.

Warm summer evening, a blackbird singing in the garden, perched at the apex of a fir tree, answering a distant call made by a rival.

10 minutes swedish summer evening. Recorded 10 june 2020 about 20:30 in the evening. I’m recording with a zoom h1. No editing of the file. Almost no wind this evening. You will hear birds, a boat, insects and a tin roof cooling. Me and my h1 are listening to the wonders of nature.
