Short stabs on a scale c,d,e. . . To. . G,a,b. Fm synthesis. One sinewave oscillator output gets mashed by a another that's outputting a triangular wav. The oscillators are fed back into themselves and each other and 40 voices unison added to create a ubiquitous growl/yoy sound. On large speakers, or a decent pair of buds, the sinewave osc fundmental can be heard as sub-bass. Flstudio was used to host the synthmaker vsti oscillators and render the wav file.

This is the sound of a rat gnawing its way down through our wooden ceiling (and 2 days after this recording there was a hole about an inch wide in the ceiling!). Recorded july 15th 2015 around 10 o'clock in the evening in the livingroom of my house in fredensborg, denmark, with a portable recorder zoom h2n. The soundfile was then exported from the recorder to a windows pc through usb, and normalized (i. E. Amplitude brought up to 0 decibel) using steinberg's wavelab software before uploading to freesound.

Wrote/recorded a free dance tune at 100bpm using ableton live 9. Basic 4 chord song structure (a, e, g, d). Synth and synth sounds are a combination of ableton stock plugins (bass groove, might as well synth brass, celestial pad) and free online synth vsts (dexed, synth1 vst). This is a recording of all in-flight announcements from a flight attendant, the first officer and captain during a flight from atlanta to new york on august 17, 2018, recorded directly from the headphone jack at my seat with a zoom h1n. Each clip is separated by a few seconds of silence. For authenticity, i left all the dc voltage spikes and electronic noise in place. This may be useful if you want an authentic announcement without the acoustics, i. E. Use your own speaker sims or impulse responses to fit into an existing sound design environment. I never did figure out why the first officer said "hello. . . Are you back there? hello? hello?" but it has been captured anyway.
