I've recorded this while biking around an urban forest. The recording is not perfect, there's a lot of background noise but might be usefull anyway. Recorded with handheld zoom h2. Originally 48khz/24-bit, edited and normalized afterwards, saved as 24-bit flac.

A dog sitting in front of a berlin supermarket, waiting for its owner. Lucky for me it misbehaves a little, i believe it thinks to hear dogs and afterwards probably reacts to its own echo. Unfortunately the owner storms out soon to discipline the cute doggie. Oh well, i got what i stayed at the supermarket entrance five minutes longer for. Recorded with zoom h2. Edited with audacity. A 24bit 29khz stereo recording of a donkey munching some grass. This recording has quite a high noise floor as the sound was very quiet. That might not be a problem though.

This is me making a random noise for no apparent reason. Recorded using a kodak video camera and deleting the video using serif movieplus x6.

It's a recording of a medium-sized dog's yelping. The dog also repeatedly sneezes from 1:15 on. The dog was longing for it's master, i did not do any harm to it otherwise than mercifully recording funny (in my opinion) sounds it made instead of saying words of support. I don't feel guilty. Recorded with a hand-held zoom h2 in 48khz/24-bit wav, edited, normalized and converted to flac using audacity.

Made the sound 'shoop' with my mouth - good for title transitionkind of sounds like a shaker.

I have been hearing an animal or two beneath my bathtub for some time now. Today i discovered who it was. Leaving my apartment building this afternoon, i saw a cat sized racoon carrying her baby under the walkway. I went back inside and set up a microphone aimed at the floor by my bathtub. Methodology: shure sm58 into focusrite and recorded via ableton. Noise removed in audacity. I have a horrendous ground loop situation. In the future i may try to mic from below the apartment so that it isn't so muffled by the floor. Some noise comes from how much i had to amplify the signal to make it heard.

A dog pants into the microphone on a hot day.

A grey squirrel at the edge of a wood seemed quite upset and repeated called for about 5 minutes. I recorded the end of its calling. It is also my first attempt at recording sound with my camera (canon eos 550d). There turned out to be a fan noise with a slight clicking. I ran noise reduction in audacity to remove it and to help reduce the sound of traffic.
