I needed to record calendar page flip, so i decided to upload my first sound here :) recorded with tascam dr-40.

Whenever i use my usb stick, my computer always makes an awful noise. I decided to record it and see if any of you guys can make anything out of it. To me it sounds like some sort of aliens or robots talking to each other. The only editing done was noise removal to get rid of the fuzziness and amplification to make it a little bit louder. Let me know in the comments if you use it.

This is the sound of the self-checkout at a retail department store. There is also an alert to remind you to remove your credit card from the reader.

I heard this sound coming out of bank machine at college, so why not recording it and edit? :d.

Field recording of a passing train in belgium in april 2020 at a railroad crossing. You hear the bells, the closing of the barriers, the passing of the electric train. Afterwards the barriers open and a car is driving over the crossing. Recorded at night.

(recorder: zoomh4npro 2018)(microphones: binaural roland cs-10em in-ear monitors). As these are recorded using binaural in-ear mics, i purposefully attempt not to turn my head to keep the sound clean and coming from the same direction. Of course, if you don't want binaural audio you can always easily convert to mono. This is a recording of me approaching a soda machine in my apartment complex, swiping my credit card in the new, handy-dandy credit card slot, and dispensing a coke zero (in case you really needed to know). Safe for all production as it is voice free. I kept the peaks very low to maintain a natural sound. Enjoy!. Christopher c. Courter.
