This is 10 seconds of ocean sounds normalized to -3db, and has a 3-second fade-in and a 3-second fade-out.

I synthesized this by making white noise, then applying a bandpass filter, and finally applying a wah-wah filter thing at a very low freq. In audacity. .

This is an under water recording of some bubbles. I filled up a laundry bin with water, stuck a sennheisser md21 (dynamic omnimic) wrapped in a plastic bag in there (under the water level). I pumped bubbles from the bottom of the bin through a bicycle pump. Gear used: md21 -> m-audio dmp3 -> terratec ewx2496. Completely unprocessed, 2:43 of 24 bit 44khz wave. This is a recording of a giant steamship running from woods hole, ma to the island of martha's vineyard, arriving at the vineyard haven port. The sound is of the big engine, and a few other ambient sounds like pa announcements, etc.

I don't know what combination of (free (as in beer)) vsts, ni komplete audio 2 interface, and behringer pro~1 synth produced this but i thought it was very soothing and definitely worth sampling!. The bass note at the beginning is f# if you want to use that as well ;). Was going to wait to upload a samplepack after i finish these 3 albums/compilations but this is just too good to sit on. Note to would-be producers: this is what mindset you get into after burning the candle at both ends buyer beware :upside_down_face:.
