Barefoot steps, with space put between the foot going down and coming up. This won't work for a natural gate, but should cut together easily to match steps. The louder sound is on the foot coming off the tile.

I'm a student studying sound and i and recording sounds this is one of the recordings. This sound was created by walking on tiled flooring with no shoes or socks.

A recording of someone walking slowly through dry leaves, could be used for footsteps or simply rustling of leaves.

I have so many sounds, i overlook stuff. Someone may find a use for this. Someone enters my shared apartment and i don't know who it is, or to whom the heavy footsteps belong. Doesn't matter, i'm in the bathroom, all i have is a towel and there wouldn't be time to any more than get to it. I prefer to select who sees me that way. Usually. So, i run to latch the door.

Using the remove hum tool on izotope rx2, i took out filtered out the hum that occurs in the 190-220 hz range. I believe any eq could filter that hum out at that range without affecting the bass in the footsteps. I believe the footsteps are in the 50-60 hz range anyway.

Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

Slower stroke with less vigorous pelvic contact, which seems to be my specialty. . . Audacity and a great phone mike.

Never to forget. Recorded with my iphone and edited with audacityimproved by a fellow freesounder and replaced.

Fucking-ii just took a single contact and repeated in perfect cadence. This file is unmodified. Just liked it.

I get annoyed easily when i hear someone telling me what to do. It gets me in trouble. This was a while ago. I hadn't ever been caught at that point, and he was the one recording. He actually got me started on that. Of course, i had taken off the offending articles of clothing and kicked off my sneakers, and was locked outside my own front door that way. Of course i couldn't go anywhere, and the only unlocked window had an air conditioner in it. Yes i did. Right over the top of it, might have looked pretty clumsy, at least…i know it was risky but not as bad as standing out there. Luckily it was a back window. Unluckily, it was raining. Hard.
