I've begun to notice how peaky the akgs can up around 5k-10k. What do you think?.

Recording of a canon pro 2000 printer's "lock and load" mechanism for ink. Several takes with both complete motions and step by step. First series are recorded from about a foot away, then close up. Recorded with a simple stereo mic set.

Believe it or not, this was made with a soda bottle cap. I made it for a zombie survival game, specifically for inserting a magazine into a gun, i thought it also sounded like a switch when sped up, so here it is.

A bass-driven, low sound that gives the feel of time slowing down. I needed something for a bullet time project and messed around in fl studio for a few minutes and came up with this. I am not a sound guru, but it got the job done.

Sawing wood: using a small saw to saw up wood. There is a bit of metal rattling as the wood is being sawed. Recorded with a zoom h6 (rode ntg-2). Recorded in a room with good acoustic. Can be used when someone is sawing wood.

Angry guts. Featuring some really quiet sound from my mechanical keyboard in the background. Was hoping that wouldn't be picked up. . . Recorded with a google pixel xl, as its bottom-facing (mono) microphone is perfect for this. No noise reduction.

Unfortunately this dog isn't with us anymore so i've tried again to clean up this bit of her out on the porch at night. It was recorded with an old blackberry playbook, which also isn't with us anymore. I think this version might be more useful.

This is the sound of a jacket zipper going up and down at various speeds. While it is from a jacket, it does sound also like the zipper from a tent as well. This was recorded with an akg c-214 condenser microphone in my home studio.

Created a loop in audacity by hitting an old coca cola collectors glass with a spoon in several locations, altering the pitch of these sounds, and applying them in a rhythmic fashion. Ended up with a kinda creepy march-like sound.

A variation on breakbeat 1,a few more snare hits and an extra kick to shuffle it up a bit. A bit of fuzz across the whole drum mix really does make a difference!normalise for extra volume.

Timpano, 71 cm diameter, tuned approximately to g. Several hits, from very soft to very loud. Played with a yarn mallet, directly in the center of the drum head. Samples are a little 'cleaned up' (noise reduction, silence removed, etc. ) but otherwise unprocessed.

Yeah, it's so screwed up you can barely tell it was from that sample. That ringing in the back is a stretched and pitched piece of the same sample. I was trying to make a dub loop, but this is what i got. Really freaky.

The sound of a bag of snap peas being dropped to the floor and then picked up repeatedly. I needed a sound effect like this for a project but thought it'd be worth sharing for anyone else with a similar niche need!.

This is a hard one hit kick. 2 kick sounds have been manipulated with eq and effects, but not over processed, put together into one. So what you end up with is a clean kick that you can hear and feel. Rendered in fl studio.

I am trying out audacity- created this beat with generating rhythm layered tracks messed with tempo and compression and graphic eq. I'm new here and hope to create and upload more beats. This beat loops then speeds up a bit in the middle.
