This is a digital swoosh sound that i made for a track because i couldn't find one so i made it my self using a synth and an fx vst, it sounds like a cross between a sea wave and a jet pass.

Artifacts in recording could be a problem, but what will be if you record only them?. . . Crazy idea? probably. There, i've mixed eight records of „nothing” from my microphone.

Made in fl studio using harmor and fruity delay bank.

One of a series of heavily processed recordings i made using a hikari monos cv. It's a small, highly tweakable synthesizer that's great for drones, resonant pings, and all manner of dynamic electronic sounds. ‘slayer’ refers to s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin made by twisted tools. By layering, blending, and mulching the original monos recordings, i was able to get a range of sounds the are dynamic, punchy, and unabashedly stereo. These might be useful for edgy-sounding ui elements.

I was looking for a smoke machine blast and a c02 gun blast for an after-movie sound design, but i couldn't find a proper sound on the internet, so with my sound design knowledge, i tried to replicate those noisemakers. Sci-fi communications 1recorded from a circuit bent randomly modified casio ctk811 via the line out into a spirit folio mixer and m300 tc electronics processor and recorded at 24bit/96khz on a tascam dr60mk2. Edited and normalised in sound forge 13.

Canon g9 digital compact camera recorded from very close distance [olympus ls-5].

Variation of the loop from:http://www. Freesound. Org/people/maxndee/sounds/106962/. Placed each hit on beat of 125, then put it through a saw tooth transformer, then slight reverb and compression. Other little details like raising one side by 2 decibels to even things out. Also, arranged the rhythm according to a phrase i thought made some more sense, added a couple of variation percs of my own to fill in the gaps. Put either a different eq on them or changed the pitch. Enjoy.
