My lights are actually connected into the wall with a switch that i can turn on/off with a seperate controller, and this switch makes this very peculiar sound when it switches on and off. I felt like it was a cool sound actually and would be great for other people to use as well in their projects!. Feel free to use whenever/however you want. I recorded my whistle with this one too. I have the ability to make reverse whistling sounds. I just killed background noises in my bedroom using my audio editing program and i added a reverb for that echo in the forest sound. This is a bird making different sounds.

A hard to describe sound that might be useful for games, in particular pinball machines and similar arcade games. Calf reverb used in audacity. This is a cc0 sound, based on (at time of download) cc0 parrot ar drone 2. 0 take off, flight and landing. This is a flac file. It is lossless like wav but compressed like ogg/mp3. Use audacity or fre:ac to convert quickly to mp3/wav/ogg.

Ambient guitar soundtrack.

An mp3 recording of a blood-curdling scream which slightly reverberates. Made by me screaming into the piano while holding down the pedal, which makes the notes vibrate in tune with the voice. The scream is a little weird because i couldn't do it very realistically. :-) recorded with a black sony digital ic voice recorder.

Sound of an unknown monstrous creature lurking in the shadows of a cave.

I found this wonderful 4 foot high waterfall in a small canyon in the shawnee national forest in southern illinois. The cool splashing of the rivulet as it spilled out onto a catch-pool was enhanced by the echo as the sound bounced off the 3-sided grotto. Recorded on one of the hottest days of august 2011 using my rode ntg-2 shotgun mic into zoom h4n recorder.
