Pequeña elevación de tierra de gran importancia para la ciudad, visibles desde diferentes lugares, en su parte más alta descansa una escultura ecuestre de sebastian de belalcazar, conquistador de la valle de pubenza. Es común que los habitantes de la ciudad suban a el morro para ver la ciudad y pasear con sus familiares y amigos. Gira sobre la calle segunda para adentrarse en el barrio, hasta llegar al colegio la pamba, en la carrera 0, porque en este punto inicia la nomenclatura ascendente hacia el occidente de la ciudad. El parque caldas es un punto nodal en el centro históruico de la ciudad de popayán, allí confluyen feligreses, que va a misa a la catedral de la ciudad, vendedores ambulates y personas que van con sus familiares y mascotas a pasar la mañana. Recorrido por longitudinal junto al río molino, puente del humilladero en popayán. El río traza la entrada al centro histórico de la ciudad. El sistema de puentes sobre el río molino datan del periodo colonial, aún son utilizados. En el recorrido se percibe el paso el trascurrir del agua además del cantos de algunas aves y el ladrido de perros. Recorded on a zoom h4n in stereo. The lions were fairly far away. I've amped it a bit make them louder and removed some bass rumble. We actually had lions walk through and roar (!) in our camp one night! unfortunately i didn't have my recorder running then. It was deafeningly loud! next time!.
