During a recent wandering in one of the many woods around me i found this wonderful small creek which, even though small, had a nice flow to it thanks to some recent rain. As i sat down to record the soothing sound of the riffles, a group of chickadees decided to come check me out. Enjoy.

A freight train recording from western new york, usa. Recorded with a zoom h1n at 24-bit, 48khz, stereo but reduced to flac 16-bit for file size. Microphone was roughly 500 meters away with houses in-between.
Phone recording (processed as wav) of melbourne traffic lights — pushing button and waiting for pedestrian crossing. Distinct mechanical 'clack' sound of the crossing (totally different from sydney), with cars driving over tram tracks.
I opened the door and stood in the doorway to record the wind. You hear leaves rustling on the floor and every now and then the wind accidentally gets into the mic as i don't have a wind screen. You hear a little howling as well as some squeeking noise through it.
