Bird sounds, mostly 'apapane, recorded on the edge of kilauea caldera on the island of hawai'i. Created on an iphone 4s using tinyvox pro. Samples trimmed and normalized, but otherwise unprocessed, using audacity on a macbook pro. Recorded on halema'uma'u trail inside of hawai'i volcanoes national park on 30 nov 2013 at about 2:00 pm.

Sound of birds in the trees. There is a street nearby where the occasional car or motorcycle comes by, but it is not that busy.

Birds are every where on kauai. . . Wild chickens and roosters are everywhere on the island as well. This was recorded near princeville on the north coast of kauai 2011-13.

This is the ambience of a food court at pearlridge center in honolulu, hawaii. I had recorded it with my sony digital voice recorder.

A whole lot of birds singing one morning at the hilton hotel in waikoloa, hi.

It has a main hole through which it was blown, producing a deep trumpet-like sound. . . . Certain traditions point out that when blowing in one of its holes, there was a loud audible sound to the region of poike (3 km far away) that attracted the fish to the coast.

The town bell in avalon, ca on catalina island rings 9:00 am. I’ve included the sound of the mechanics getting started. Recorded on 20 february 2012 with a zoom h4,standing approximately 15’ from the bell tower. No editing (other than normalization) has been done.
