A sound i made in audacity. Could be used when someone owns someone else, or just for fun, i guess.

Short snippets of voice demonstrating the acoustics of different enviroments: a normal living room with hard floors, a bathroom, and a studio treated for sound. Recorded with a handheld recorder (omnidirectional microphone) held at arm's length, mono.

I did some whistling and effected the speed, pitch, and filters in a few ways.

Thunder with large rolling echo from near by mountains.

I recorded my whistle. I have the ability to make reverse whistling sounds. I just killed background noises in my bedroom using my audio editing program and i added a reverb for that echo in the forest sound.

Static with a long reverb. Flanger and phaser were applied somewhere while making this.

A slinky spring toy stretched out and plucked once from the end, recorded with a zeppelin design labs cortado impedance-matched piezo contact microphone. The resulting recording is a classic spring-based sci-fi "laser sound" with a massive, lengthy, rumbling decay tail. This was recorded at 24 bit 96 khz. In addition to its use as a sound effect, this waveform works well inside a convolution reverb as an offbeat spring reverb impulse response, provided one has the processor power and ram to support a 2 minute 13 second convolution. The cortado's bass response is exceptionally large for a contact mic, so high pass filtering may be desired if used as an impulse response.
