A strange noise we heard while camping in the otways in victoria, australia. We assumed it was a koala but still not sure!. Recorded with a zoom h2.

I don't know the details (like male / female, barn, tawny, big, little etc) but this fella started hooting the tother day so loud we could hear him/her indoors. The recording was done straight from my samsung galaxy phone. Slight amplification applied but otherwise raw.

Made out a piece of generated noise. Then some frequencies cut, others pumped, distorted, again frequency cut and pump, then delay job and distortion again and frequency cuts.
