A 24bit 29khz stereo recording of quite a rowdy sheep herd in a field. Has some very faint wind noise, but if used as ambiance it would not be noticeable. I took this sample from a phone message. I did use a live feed,(from the headset output on my phone, through a cable into my digital recorder. ) but it is very soft. When i tried recording with out the live feed, i couldn't even find the noise again. It could definitely use to be amped up a bit.

This is an attempt to recreate the sound of a gunshot. At a distant and medium distance. The sound consists of two layers. In the synthesis, white noise with different filtering by layers was used. Reverb was not used. The final processing is equalization and a bit of overdrive.
This is the ambience of both banks of a river that normally runs loudly outside the kitchen window of my home here in honolulu, hawaii. You can hear traffic passing by, birds singing in the trees (especially a dove), kids laughing in the distance, and a light breeze blowing.
